Many improvements have been made in both academics and infrastructure, aimed at improving the quality of graduates so that they master science and technology in line with the demands of the times.

A tracer study is an approach that enables a higher education institution to obtain information and feedback on possible shortcomings in the education and learning process. A tracer study also provides a basis for planning activities to improve learning in the future. The results of a tracer study can be used by the institution to assess the success of the education it has provided to its students. In addition, the study is important for determining whether the curriculum of the Faculty of Medicine, Unjani, meets the needs of stakeholders. For these reasons, FK Unjani needs to conduct a tracer study.
