International Jamboree

PRFMNEWS – The Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani (FK Unjani) held the International Jamboree 2024 from Tuesday, 9 July 2024 to Thursday, 11 July 2024 at Curug Layung, Lembang, West Bandung Regency. The event involved medical professionals such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and health students from various countries. The FK Unjani International Jamboree 2024 was chaired by dr. Odih Fahruzi, Sp.An-TI, AIFO-K, and officially opened by Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, SH., LL.M., Ph.D., Rector of Unjani, and Dr. Wendra, dr., M.Kes., Dean of FK Unjani. Over three days, participants took part in workshops, competitions, online courses, a cultural night, and recreational programs.

The International Jamboree aims to strengthen relationships among medical professionals and health students from different countries and to enrich their knowledge and skills through a range of planned activities. It also serves as a joint learning and training exercise with Asian countries in handling emergencies and disasters. The event is part of the vision and mission of the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani, as a medical faculty with “Excellent” accreditation, committed to producing professional, high-quality medical personnel and expanding international cooperation. The chair of the committee, Odih Fahruzy, explained that 25 participants from various countries took part, with the aim of building skills in disaster management.
