Universitas Jenderal A. Yani held LDKK (Basic Discipline and Leadership Training) for new students of the 2021 cohort. The opening ceremony was led directly by the Rector of Universitas Jenderal A. Yani, Prof. Hikmahanto Juwana, S.H., LL.M., Ph.D. The activity took place at the Djarot Soepadmo Field, Artillery Education Center (Pusdik Armed), in compliance with health protocols. According to the Rector, the reasons for holding LDKK are: “First, to distinguish us from other universities — as a university under the Indonesian Army, our students must be characterized by discipline, loyalty, and courtesy, just like the Army. Second, to revive LDKK, which had been suspended. Third, to instill a fighting spirit in students as they face their studies at Universitas Jenderal Achmad Yani.”
