The activity was a collaboration between the Faculty of Medicine, Unjani, alumni, businesses, communities, professional organizations, and government agencies such as the District Military Command (Kodim), the District Police (Polres), and the local government.
“We were also supported by sponsors, including Notif, and by the mass media, which are very important in spreading positive spirit to the wider public,” said dr. Yusuf.
For the event, the committee set up a field hospital complete with various medical facilities, including emergency care, general medicine, internal medicine, surgery, and pediatric clinics — and even nuclear medicine services.
“This field hospital can be considered equivalent to a type A hospital because of the comprehensive services available,” he said.
A total of 300 medical personnel, consisting of doctors and nurses, were deployed for the activity. They came from various regions such as Bandung, Garut, and other areas.
The activity also involved various professional organizations such as IDI (Indonesian Medical Association), PPNI (Indonesian National Nurses Association), and IBI (Indonesian Midwives Association). dr. Yusuf also expressed special appreciation to the Commander of Kodim 0608 Cianjur, who was one of the initiators of the activity, as well as the Faculty of Organic Science Harapan Sehat and other sponsors.
“May this spirit live on and inspire similar social activities in the future,” he concluded..
